Partha Chatterjee is a renowned disciple of the legendary Pt. Nikhil Banerjee, having studied under him for over twelve years. After the tragic demise of this guru, Parthaji started learning from Ustad Ali Akbar Khan and has been doing so ever since. For several years now, Parthaji has been a prolific performer all over the globe and on radio and TV. Besides that, he has served on the Indian Council for Cultural Relations for the Govt. Of India. For the past seven years, he has been teaching under the auspices of the SARASWATI project in germany and at the Ali Akbar College of Music in the US.
